As teachers and students return to school for the final term, the SnowDome school visits team are hard at work making sure the ultimate snow, ice and leisure venue is ready for them.
Creating memorable end of school year visits is something that should be done with great care and attention which the SnowDome takes huge pride in.
Learning to ski or snowboard is just the beginning… there’s a whole host of unforgettable fun experiences to enjoy! Students can race down the 170m real snow slope in steerable toboggans, take on the UK’s only ice track and splash about in the pool during a flume and inflatable fun session. Not to mention speeding and spinning down the slope in inflatable tubes, scaling the climbing wall or having fun in the snow in snowplay.
The SnowDome turns 25 in 2019, making it the longest running indoor snow centre in the world! So, not only can schools enjoy one-of-a-kind activities whilst at the venue, there’s the chance to hear business talks from members of the management team about how the SnowDome has stayed at the top of the snow business game for over two decades!
When schools arrive, they’ll be greeted by our dedicated schools coordinator who will be ready to go through every detail of the plans for their day to ensure a fantastic and safe visit.
Over the final three weeks of term, additional members of the team will be available each day to support school visits, from making sure their visit is epic, to helping them find their next activity within the SnowDome. It’s all about making sure students and teachers leave looking forward to their next visit!
This year, there’s even more of the most popular activities available than ever, to ensure schools can find exactly what they’re looking for, on the days they want.
The experience doesn’t just start when schools arrive. Before their visit, teachers will receive a personal call from the schools team to go over the timings of their visit, where to park and anything else that may be of importance.
The amazing school trips don’t have to stop there though, schools get the chance to visit the fantastic Santa’s Winter Wonderland event, the ultimate real snow Christmas adventure! Close out the Christmas term with a day playing in the snow, watching Santa in his brand new show and meeting his furry animal friends. Returns to the SnowDome from Friday 15th November.
The SnowDome looks forward to welcoming hundreds of school groups as they celebrate the end of another fantastic school year in style.
