Everything you need to know before you arrive at Santa’s Winter Wonderland.
Can I visit with children under 2?
Yes! Kids under 2 can visit Santa’s Winter Wonderland for free and must be accompanied by a paying adult. You can book your free child tickets during checkout.
Important: While under 2s cannot use the snow slides, there’s still lots of fun to be had! We recommend snow angels and snowballs in the snow, the petting zoo at Santa’s Christmas Village, doodling a letter to Santa, and the unmissable panto!
To add under 2 tickets, please complete your booking and then forward your e-ticket confirmation to guestservices@snowdome.co.uk with the amount of under 2’s required, we will confirm back to you once complete.
Is it real snow?
Absolutely – we use 100% real snow at Santa’s Winter Wonderland! You’ll hear the crunch of snow on the ground and see snowflakes falling all around you in a one-of-a-kind indoor experience. Perfect for sledding and snowball-throwing! Just remember to wrap up in something warm and prepare for a true winter wonderland.

Is Santa's Winter Wonderland suitable for all ages?
We believe there’s no age limit on fun or festivities! Santa’s Winter Wonderland is made for every child and every child at heart! All you have to do...is believe.
Where do we go when we arrive?
We’ve got on-site parking – and lots of it! Once you’ve parked, head inside the SnowDome and check-in at the Santa’s Winter Wonderland reception desk. Don’t forget to bring your winter gear, coats, gloves, and warm essentials for tonnes of snowy fun!
Should we arrive early?
The SnowDome is very popular during the festive season, so we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your time slot. If you’re early, you can relax in LiftHouse Coffee Co. with a hot drink and watch the action on the slopes from our viewing balcony.
How much time do I have?
The full experience at Santa’s Winter Wonderland takes between 1.5 hours and 2 hours. You’ll enjoy 30 minutes on the real snow trail, 30 minutes at the mini pantomime, and then tonnes of time to explore everything that Santa’s Village has to offer.
What should we wear?
Warm clothing is essential. Coats, gloves, and winter footwear are a must – especially on the snow trail. Hats and scarves are a good idea, too! We recommend wearing layers as things can warm up in the pantomime theatre.
Do you offer SEN sessions?
Yes! SEN sessions are available at select times. We’ve designed a calmer experience for guests with autism, sensory needs, or learning difficulties who’d prefer a more relaxed visit. SEN sessions at Santa’s Winter Wonderland have lower sound and lighting levels, fewer people, extra wheelchair spaces, and a calm atmosphere. We also offer 1 complimentary carer space per guest that must be pre-booked.
Is Santa's Winter Wonderland wheelchair accessible?
Santa’s Winter Wonderland is fully accessible for manual wheelchairs. Unfortunately, automated wheelchairs are not suitable for the event.

Are there food and drinks on-site?
Yes! Santa’s Winter Wonderland has a variety of dining options. Santa’s Village serves up classic hot chocolate and festive treats, while Aspen’s Bar & Kitchen offers a full meal dining experience. Lifthouse Coffee Co. is our cosy cafe near the reception desk where you can grab a bite to eat before and after your visit.
