Instructor Courses

The BASI & IASI level 1 qualifications are designed for those wanting to find employment in a non-mountain environment. The SnowDome offers employment opportunities to successful level 1 instructors.

Fees include all aspects of the course, including lift pass, training and lecture room hire, plus 35 hours complimentary lesson shadowing. We also offer employment opportunities to successful candidates, subject to an interview. Courses can be booked by calling 03448 000011. For more information, please email the Snow Sports Manager.

If you're travelling to the venue and stopping in the area whilst completing your course you can stop at the Holiday Inn Express next door. SnowDome BASI course participants received discounted prices, for more information contact the Snow Sports Manager.

Alpine (Ski) Level 1
  • 30th July 2018
  • 13th August 2018
  • 27th August 2018
  • 29th October 2018

Snowboard Level 1

  • 30th July 2018
  • 22nd October 2018

Adaptive Level 1

Adaptive courses must be booked through BASI.

All candidates must be 16 years and above with a good technical ability and an understanding of client care. Courses run for 5 days, Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.

 

First Aid Courses

WCT provides Outdoor First Aid courses in conjunction with SnowDome BASI courses. All bookings must be made through WCT.

Safeguarding Courses

This online course is approved by BASI. SnowDome BASI course participants receive a 10% discount when booking this course, using the code tamsfgAll bookings must be made through WCT.
