Chef de Partie

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef working at Chef de Partie level to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and be ready to bring their culinary expertise to our kitchen.

Aspen’s Bar & Kitchen is nestled in a breathtaking woodland setting. Our unique seating options create the perfect ambiance for your Alpine dining adventure. Snuggle up in one of our cosy teepees, enjoy a rustic meal around a personal campfire booth, or feel the vibrant energy of the slopes from our slopeside booths. Every detail is designed to immerse you in the magic of the mountains!

Job Type: Full-Time

Full-time: 40hrs a week (5 out of 7 days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and safety
  • Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks efficiently
  • Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Assist in managing kitchen schedules

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant.
  • Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards.
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
