Silver for Curling & Bronze for Zoe Atkin

The 2026 Milano–Cortina Winter Olympics delivered an unforgettable finale for Team Great Britain, with two standout performances that captured the hearts of winter sports fans across the nation.

Bronze Glory ⛷️

On the snow at Livigno Snow Park, Zoe Atkin capped off the Winter Olympics in spectacular fashion by winning bronze in the women’s freestyle ski halfpipe. The 23‑year‑old delivered an electrifying final, showcasing massive amplitude and technical prowess to secure third place with a score of 92.50.

This achievement also places Zoe alongside her older sister Izzy Atkin, who famously won bronze in ski slopestyle for Great Britain at the 2018 Winter Games, making the Atkin sisters the first British sibling duo to both earn Winter Olympic medals.

Silver Success 🥌

In a thrilling conclusion to the curling tournament, the Great Britain men’s curling team secured silver, adding another gleaming Olympic medal to their impressive résumé. After a tense final against Canada, the British rink, skipped by Bruce Mouat, fought valiantly but ultimately finished second with a score of 9–6.

This result marked back‑to‑back Olympic silver medals for the team, following their podium finish at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, and further solidified their position as one of the world’s elite curling outfits. Their strategic precision, calm under pressure, and team cohesion were on full display throughout the tournament, a performance that has inspired curlers and fans alike.

A Historic Winter for Team GB 🏅

This Winter Olympics is one of Great Britain’s most memorable ever. Alongside multiple golds in skeleton and snowboarding, the men’s curling silver and Zoe Atkin’s bronze contributed to a record‑equalling five‑medal haul for Team GB.
