Part-Time Personal Trainer (Maternity Cover)

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract, starting March 2026. Working part-time across a varied shift pattern (between 6am and 10pm), you’ll play an important role in supporting our members' fitness journeys and contributing to a high-performing gym environment.

As part of our gym team, you will deliver first-class member service through gym inductions, tailored fitness programmes and programme reviews. You’ll run both free and paid personal training sessions, helping members build confidence, improve technique and achieve their goals. You’ll also lead group exercise classes such as circuits, bootcamp and core sessions, bringing energy and motivation to every workout.

Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming gym floor is essential, along with upholding the high standards expected across the fitness team. This role is ideal for a passionate PT looking to build experience, make an impact and work as part of a supportive and engaged team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out gym inductions for new members.
  • Write personalised gym programmes and complete six-week reviews.
  • Deliver free PT sessions and sell paid personal training packages.
  • Teach classes such as circuits, bootcamp and core.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented gym floor.
  • Meet and exceed operational and service standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
  • Additional class-teaching qualifications (advantageous).
  • A passion for fitness, great communication skills and a member-focused attitude.
