Aspens Bar & Kitchen at the SnowDome delivers a unique alpine dining experience in the heart of Tamworth. We are looking for a General Manager to lead from the front and create an outstanding guest experience while driving strong commercial performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full ownership of the front of house operation while working closely with the kitchen team to deliver smooth, high quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role
You will be the face of the business leading the team and setting the standard across service quality and performance. You will balance exceptional hospitality with strong financial control to ensure the venue operates efficiently and profitably

Job Type: Full-time flexible, including evenings and weekends

Location: Aspen's Bar & Kitchen, SnowDome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar
  • Deliver consistent high standards across service, food, drink and cleanliness
  • Work closely with the Chef Manager to align service and food delivery
  • Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team
  • Manage budgets, labour and cost of sales
  • Drive revenue growth and maximise profitability
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and licensing standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader
  • Strong understanding of both front-of-house and kitchen operations
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
  • Confident leader with strong communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to perform under pressure
  • A proactive problem solver with attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
