Aspen’s Bar & Kitchen at the SnowDome offers a unique alpine dining experience in the heart of Tamworth. We are looking for a Chef Manager to lead the kitchen and shape a fresh, exciting food offer that matches this one-of-a-kind setting.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine creativity and strong operational control to deliver high quality food and a smooth, efficient kitchen. You will lead from the front and take full ownership of the kitchen operation. From creating seasonal menus to delivering during busy service, you will set the standard across quality, consistency and performance.

Job Type: Full-Time, competitive salary

Full-Time: 40hrs a week (including evenings and weekends)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the kitchen team
  • Design seasonal menus that reflect quality and creativity
  • Deliver consistent high standards during high volume service
  • Manage stock food costs and labour effectively
  • Ensure food safety and compliance standards are met
  • Keep the kitchen organised, efficient and running smoothly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Calm and effective under pressure
  • Good understanding of cost control and stock management
  • A positive team focused approach
  • A passion for delivering great food every time

Every year Santa's Winter Wonderland is opened exclusively for Acorns Children's Hospice. Plus, over £20,000 worth of tickets are donated annually to local charities.
