As a Team Member at Aspen’s Bar & Kitchen, you will be part of the front-of-house team, delivering outstanding hospitality to every guest. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting your colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, reliable, and thrives in a team setting while maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and professionalism.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
  • Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a professional manner.

Food & Beverage Handling

  • Serve food and beverages in line with Aspen’s standards.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service, checking IDs when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work closely with fellow team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively during busy shifts.
  • Support colleagues by assisting with tasks as needed.

Cleanliness & Safety

  • Keep tables, service areas, and the bar/kitchen clean and organized.
  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Handle equipment and supplies properly to avoid accidents or waste.

Requirements:

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and orders.

Personal Qualities

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and behaviour.
  • Friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused.
  • Adaptable and able to stay calm under pressure.
