The BASI Alpine Level 1 course is ideal for confident skiers ready to take things to the next level. Over four action-packed days, you’ll train, be assessed, and gain valuable on-slope shadowing hours - all right here at the SnowDome.
Courses include four-days of BASI training, BASI membership worth £69.99 & four-day lift pass worth £180. Courses run throughout the year, with weekday and weekend options available. Plus, if you qualify and join the SnowDome team as an instructor for the 2026/27 winter season, you’ll get half of your course fee refunded!* Qualified SnowDome instructors can earn up to £14 per hour, making it a fantastic way to do what you love - and get paid for it. 2026 Course Dates
Midweek Courses - Monday to Thursday (4 consecutive days)
- 25th – 28th May 2026
- 27th – 30th July 2026
- 17th – 20th August 2026

Weekend Courses - Two consecutive weekends (4 days total)
- 20th & 21st June and 27th & 28th June 2026
- 3rd & 4th October and 10th & 11th October 2026
- 31st October & 1st November and 7th & 8th November 2026
