BASI Instructor Courses

Your journey to the slopes starts here! BASI level 1 qualifications are designed for those wanting to find employment in indoor snow centres. Qualified SnowDome instructors can earn up to £14 per hour.

Book with confidence, any BASI course bookings that are unable to go ahead due to the current social distancing measures will be rebooked or refunded.

The BASI level 1 qualification is the ideal way to kickstart your career in snowsports. Once qualified you'll be able to work in an indoor environment, teaching people these fantastic sports and inspiring people every day. 

BASI level 1 alpine and snowboard courses

A 5 day training and assessment course which includes lift passes and 35 hours complimentary lesson shadowing (on completion of the course). Courses run from 9am - 5pm daily.

BASI level 1 courses run throughout the year, select book now to find a date that suits you.

  •  BASI Level 1

      Alpine & snowboarding   £600.00
  • BASI Alpine (Ski) Level 1

    Level 1 is an entry level course for skiers with aspirations to join the BASI education system. The minimum standard expected for the course is confidence at turning on all types of slope and terrain. A sound knowledge of skiing itself is also useful.

  • BASI Snowboard Level 1

    Level 1 is an entry level course for snowboarders with aspirations to join the BASI education system. The minimum standard for the course is confidence at turning on all types of slope and terrain. A sound knowledge of snowboarding is also useful.

The SnowDome remains temporarily closed but in anticipation of a hopeful opening we are now accepting online bookings for Monday 20th July onwards. This opening date may be subject to change and in the event we are not open for your booking then our relaxed booking terms and conditions will apply to all guests with pre-booked activities, as follows:

Temporary Closure Relaxed Booking Terms & Conditions

For New Bookings (made after 21st March) - We want to reassure all our guests making future bookings to visit from 20th July onwards, if the SnowDome is not re-open in time for your future visit, we will refund the entirety of your booking or provide a transfer to a later date of your choice. You don’t need to take any action, we will contact you as required.
