We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef working at Chef de Partie level to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and be ready to bring their culinary expertise to our kitchen.
We have an exciting opportunity to lead our team in Aspen's Bar & Kitchen at the SnowDome.
Aspen’s Bar & Kitchen is a dynamic and vibrant dining destination known for delivering exceptional experiences against the backdrop of the first and best indoor snow slope in the UK! We pride ourselves on top-tier service, high-quality food and drinks and a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.
Job Type: Full-Time
Full-Time: 40hrs a week (5 out of 7 days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and safety
- Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks efficiently
- Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Assist in managing kitchen schedules
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
