Never skied or snowboarded before... fancy giving it a try?
Well, you’ve come to the right place! Learning to ski or snowboard on real snow is a rewarding and exciting experience! The SnowDome caters for all ages, with a selection of lessons for adults and juniors.
On average a beginner attends 3 × 2 hour Group Lessons in order to learn how to ski or snowboard i.e. to reach the Recreational Standard. Adult beginners can learn even quicker by attending 2 × 3 hour Fast Track lessons, or for the ultimate learning experience why not try the Learn To Ski or Snowboard In A Day Course.
Adult lessons are available for persons 16 years and over and Junior lessons for children aged 8-15 years, see below.
Kinder ski lessons for children aged 4-7 years are also available but these follow a different format, see Kinder Lessons
For safety reasons members of the public are not allowed to teach.

2 hours, max 10 per Instructor (ski) / 6 per Instructor (snowboard)
Adults 16years+/Juniors 8-15yearsThere are 3 group lessons to complete in order to reach the Recreational Standard. A single group lesson lasts 2 hours. Alternatively adults could opt to speed up their learning with the Fast Track Lessons, see below…

Fast Track Lessons (Fast Track 1 & 2)
3 hours, max 10 per Instructor (ski) / 6 per Instructor (snowboard)
Adults 16years+ / Juniors 8-15yearsBenefit from a quicker learning experience over fewer visits. Perfect if you don’t have much time before you head out abroad. There are 2 Fast Track lessons to complete in order to reach the Recreational Standard.

Private Lessons
55 mins – beginner, intermediate or advanced
Private lessons are available for the more personal touch for beginners and experts. Beginners will benefit from a more intense coaching experience and recreational standard skiers and snowboarders can progress any element of their skills. Available for 1 person up to a maximum of 5 people per instructor.

Booking Lessons
All lessons must be pre-booked and pre-paid and remain non refundable and non-transferable. Depending upon personal ability a lesson may have to be repeated before progressing to the next level. On arrival, check-in at SnowDome reception, then head downstairs to Ski Hire to get changed, obtain all equipment and go to your designated meeting point to wait for your instructor. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your lesson, as late arrivals cannot always be accommodated.
*2 Hour Group Lesson and 3 Hour Fast Track Lesson course offer valid on standard prices as above and not in conjunction with any other offer. Saving is deducted from the total price of the course.
