What should I wear?
Wear warm winter clothing, gloves and footwear suitable for walking on snow. Dress as you would when you go outdoors in the winter when snow is on the ground. Boots or shoes with a good grip are recommended, children’s Wellington boots are ideal. Don’t forget to bring gloves and you can also bring a hat and scarf if you wish.

I have some very young children – will it be suitable?
All children – no matter what age will have a great time. The snowy Christmas landscape, all the animals and Santa’s new live stage production will trigger the imagination and bring joy to even the youngest visitors. Please note that if you have a young baby or infant (who cannot yet walk) and you wish to carry them please bear in mind the duration of the experience and that you will be walking over snow.

Can I bring my child in his/her pushchair?
The real snow terrain means it is not suitable for pushchairs or buggies and you cannot take these into Santa’s Winter Wonderland experience. There is however a huge car park so you may wish to leave your pushchair in the car.

How suitable is the event for grandparents / the elderly?
Please note that there is a promenade walkway around a section of the snowy Christmas landscape, perfect for Grandparents and those less sure on their feet.

What about accommodating disabled visitors?
Disabled visitors are most welcome. We have facilities for disabled guests throughout the SnowDome venue generally. Disabled visitors to Santa’s Winter Wonderland who have the ability to walk unaided will be able to play and slide around in the snow.
Customers requiring a wheelchair will be able to use the promenade walkway, over the snow enabling them to enjoy the experience with their friends & family. Please phone for further information and session times. As with all tickets this is subject to availability.

Will my child get to meet Santa?
Santa will meet all the children at the same time, within the live stage production. Santa will not meet each child individually but he’s sure to ask them if they have been good and what they want for Christmas.

Am I able to take photographs?
Guests are welcome to take photographs but we would ask you not to use a flash near the animals. All visitors will have their photograph taken with the Yeti as a souvenir opportunity that you can purchase at the end of the experience – there’s no obligation to purchase.

How long will I be at the SnowDome on the day?
The experience lasts approximately 1 ½ hours (including 25 minutes playing on the snow and allowing 30 minutes to meet all the animals), so allow around 1 1/12 – 2 hours at the SnowDome venue – you are of course most welcome to stay as long as you wish. Please arrive at the entrance to Santa’s Winter Wonderland no earlier than 10 minutes before the time stated on your confirmation ticket.

What else is there to do at the SnowDome?
There’s loads to do at the SnowDome! Do I have to pre book?
We strongly advise that all tickets are pre-booked to avoid disappointment; many days were a sell out last year. You may leave it to chance and turn up on the day but tickets are strictly limited and may be sold out. Please pre-book to avoid any tears.

What else will I have to pay for?
Any other purchases are entirely discretionary – there is no obligation to spend any further money. During the experience there is an opportunity to purchase gifts, novelty items and your group photograph taken with the Yeti. There is also a full selection of food and drink available for your refreshment.

Is the experience particularly religious?
No, Santa’s Winter Wonderland is essentially about real snow, real reindeer and real fun! There is a nativity scene within the experience, which is as religious as it gets.
